37thSTATE started with the idea of documenting the socio-cultural impact of African people in Africa and in the diaspora through visual mediums in a globally accessible way.
Along the way, we’ve evolved into creating employment and training opportunities for local production teams as well as providing management services for emerging creative talents.
There are 36 States in Nigeria. 37thSTATE is the place we imagined where all potential is fulfilled and recorded for posterity. It’s as simple as that.
